Cun Te hunched over, dodging the pirates running around everywhere as he made his way toward the bar. He saw Taya sitting blankly on the stage, at a loss. When she saw Cun Te approach, her eyes lit up and she regained her spirit. Just as she was about to say something, Cun Te stopped her.
"If nothing unexpected happens, Kuken won't be able to hold out much longer. I'm going to cause some trouble here, then take everyone and escape in the lifeboats," Cun Te whispered.
"I don't know how I can help you... but just now, someone who looked like a captain mentioned that the armory is nearby," Taya said.
Hearing this, Cun Te immediately became excited. He patted Taya's cheek and said, "All right. Wait here for me."
A moment later, Cun Te came running back with an excited grin. He pulled Taya into his arms and whispered, "Come on, I'll show you some fireworks... haha! Three, two, one!"
Boom!!! A deafening explosion rang out, and the corridor instantly erupted in flames!
Taking advantage of the chaos, Cun Te had slipped into the armory, made a simple timed igniter, and directly set off the blaster gas stored inside!
That armory merely stored the pirates' blasters; it was not the ammunition magazine for the warship's main guns. Thus, while the explosion destroyed several nearby compartments, it did not cause any structural damage to the cruiser.
However, the blast made Kuken on the bridge completely snap. He grabbed the navigator by the collar and roared, "Who the hell is causing trouble on my ship?! Was it those singers?!"
"I... I don't know..." The navigator, sprayed full in the face with saliva, was already terrified and hurriedly answered.
"Useless!! You're all useless!!" Kuken pulled out his pistol, pressed it beneath
