This planet had once been a lush green world full of life and vitality. But thousands of years ago, its orbit suddenly changed, turning it into a Death Star blanketed in ice and snow.

And yet now, this planet with virtually no strategic value was facing a massive invasion by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Six Luukri-Hok-class battleships entered the planet's outer orbit. The enormous dragonfly-shaped silhouettes of C-9979 landing craft appeared in the atmosphere as 300,000 B-1 battle droids surged like a tide toward the Galactic Republic military installation here—Bravo Base.

The Republic soldiers in the base were all ordinary local defense troops. Facing this overwhelming droid army, every one of them went pale. But at this point, they had no choice but to fight to the death.

Countless droids had sealed off every exit of the base and launched a frenzied assault, while C-9979 transports in the sky continuously delivered more droids and tanks.

Fortunately, Bravo Base had been expanded from Relics left behind during the Mandalorian Wars thousands of years ago and possessed a complete defensive system. Relying on those turrets and firing ports, the soldiers fought desperately.

Large numbers of Vulture droid fighters wreaked havoc in the skies, but the base's anti-aircraft fire was no less fierce. Dozens of laser cannons fired wildly, shooting down Vulture droid fighters as though swatting flies.

But such resistance was only temporary. As the landing craft continued to descend and take off, armored units began appearing among the droid legion. Over a hundred AAT assault tanks appeared beyond the base's defensive line, their high-powered Turbolasers firing relentlessly. Yet an even greater threat stood more than ten kilometers away: twenty enormous silhouettes.

These self-propelled mortars were modified from MTT troop transport
