Christophsis, July 12, 800 kilometers east of Crystal City, transportation hub Kimberley City.

Formations of Vulture droid fighters swept across the sky, repeatedly diving to bombard their targets. The Christophsian army could only hide beneath bridges or behind sturdy buildings, carefully poking their heads out to return fire.

Yet along the city's main avenues, the droid legions of the Confederacy of Independent Systems advanced relentlessly.

The massive AAT assault tanks rumbled forward. Aside from their upper turrets, these tanks, armed to the teeth, each had a large-caliber Turbolaser mounted on the pylons on either side, as well as six rocket launchers on their chassis. The tanks advanced while firing. The droid legions showed no mercy; whenever they spotted anyone inside a building, they immediately opened fire until the entire structure was blasted apart.

Some fearless Christophsian soldiers tried to sneak close and destroy the tanks, but several B-1 battle droids stood guard atop every AAT tank. The moment anyone tried to approach, they were gunned down.

A massive formation of B-2 super battle droids and LR-57s marched straight down the middle of the road. The B-2s led the way, laying down suppressive fire, while the LR-57s followed behind, firing at fixed targets.

That was how the droid legions operated. No cover, no tactics—only advance, fire, destroy.

The battle had also reached its final stage atop a colossal metal structure more than 2,000 meters tall in the city center. The few remaining Christophsian troops were resisting in desperation. The elevators had been cut off, and they barricaded the upper stairwells, firing continuously at the droids climbing up floor by floor.
