"Attention! The enemy has a mysterious black unit! Their combat power is extremely strong, and they're infiltrating inward!"

"Why is the P-3 artillery position firing on our own people!?"

"Separatist fighters are attacking our warships!"

Listening to the chaotic voices on the command channel, Clone squad commander Sergeant CI-3331, nicknamed Slick, gave a cold smile and shut off the comms. He knew the time had come.

Seeing him stop, a nearby Clone Trooper asked in confusion, "Sergeant, what is it?"

"The situation has changed. Besides deploying those monsters, the Separatists have other units infiltrating as well. We just received orders that another squad will handle the area we were assigned to. We now need to ensure the security of the communications center," Slick said.

The Clone Trooper had no reason to doubt him. He nodded and said nothing more.

The Clone squad of more than fifty men changed direction and headed toward the communications tower in Crystal City. Along the way, they passed several defensive lines manned by local Christophsian forces. Those local troops had long since been terrified by the war; when they saw the Clone Troopers approach, they let them pass without asking a single question.

After entering the enormous communications tower, Slick ordered, "Intelligence reports that a horde of living dead is gathering on the southern street. Organize the local soldiers and establish defenses on the south side immediately. We can't let those living dead damage our communications facilities!"

"Yes, sir!" The Clone Troopers immediately saluted. Then one squad went over to gather the local soldiers and begin constructing a defensive line.
