Invasion of Aereen Planet (Part 2)

"General, our defenders have retreated more than ten kilometers and suffered severe losses. It's time to withdraw!" At the underground command center on Aereen Planet, a combat staff officer said to General Cheng Shitao, who was directing the battle before a holographic map.

Cheng Shitao stared silently at the hundreds of triangles representing Clone Trooper combat squads on the holographic map.

Even from this broad perspective, it was clear that the Clone Trooper squads advanced and retreated in perfect order. Like hundreds of nails, they had punched their defensive line full of holes.

At that moment, he noticed one triangle that had pushed forward at least two kilometers and directly stormed into one of their frontline repair stations. He opened a channel and asked, "What's happening at Thorn Station?"

"General, several Clone Troopers have broken in! They're running around everywhere and have killed a lot of people!" Gunfire and explosions rang continuously from the other end of the channel. "Ammunition depot! Ammunition depot, respond immediately! We can't let them infiltrate any farther!"

The situation over there was clearly critical. The commander did not even have time to speak with Cheng Shitao.

Cheng Shitao's expression darkened terribly. He lowered the communicator and said, "Destroy the equipment. Withdraw."

As the withdrawal order was issued, all the robots at Aereen Planet headquarters immediately launched a suicidal charge. The Fourth Civilization Army and civilian personnel quickly planted explosives according to plan, then headed in orderly fashion toward the transport ships.

However, at that moment, Jedi Master Shen-Jon, who was directing the battle at the front, suddenly looked in one direction and said sternly, "They're trying to run!"

"General, should we pursue?" the Clone Trooper commander asked.

"No. You can't catch them. Continue the attack according to plan. Capture their command center. This is
