Outer Rim of the galaxy, Pelgrin Sector.

This was in the southern reaches of the Milky Way Galaxy's planar star map, even more remote than Ryloth and the Rodian planet, which were already located far to the south. Almost no one ever came here.

The Galactic Republic's last Population Census of the Pelgrin Sector had been 450 years ago. According to the data at the time, the sector's total population was around six million, spread across nine planets with basic atmospheres. The census specifically noted that this population figure could fluctuate by roughly 20 percent.

In other words, this was a genuine backwater of a star sector, one where even the Population Census could not get a clear count.

The Draay System was even more inconspicuous. It contained three planets, two of which were gas giants. One was dark red because its atmosphere contained large amounts of iron oxide, while the other was blue due to methane.

The third planet was completely barren. Its crust and soil were black, and its atmosphere was filled with acidic substances, making it utterly unsuitable for life.

Four moons orbited that dark-red gas giant. Dray II was the smallest among them. Since it was the second moon in orbital order from near to far, it was named II.

Dray II Satellite had a thin atmosphere. Some of its oxygen had been absorbed from the gas giant, making it barely capable of supporting life.

However, all of the moon's light came from starlight reflected by the gas giant, so illumination was scarce. Most of the time, temperatures on the planet hovered around freezing.

Dark gray was the planet's dominant color... Most of it was covered in dark-gray deserts. Only around the equator, where temperatures were slightly higher, was there rainfall and some short vegetation.
