The Battle of Janfatar
The Battle of Janfatar lasted for over a month. Unexpectedly, the outcome was not decided by the two belligerents, the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Instead, arms dealer Yuri Orlov, the ruling party government of Janfatar, and the workers' strike organization became the main players.
The battle came to an abrupt end with the sudden large-scale outbreak of the Geth. But before that, the workers' uprising on Janfatar had already succeeded. They overthrew the ruling party government and established their own workers' regime.
They hated the Galactic Republic to the core. After establishing their government, they immediately announced their accession to the Confederacy of Independent Systems and declared war on the Galactic Republic.
Although the Galactic Republic came away empty-handed in this battle, Captain Gillard Perine of the Acclamator-class assault ship Leveler made a name for himself. He offered crucial tactical advice, having their fleet scatter and harass the enemy while forcibly landing on Janfatar, luring Ulu Ulix into making the wrong move. For a time, he even let the Republic glimpse the dawn of victory.
On the space battlefield, Jedi Master Sass Tinn fought side by side with master and apprentice Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano, withstanding the immense pressure of the Confederacy of Independent Systems fleet. They even left the enemy Dark Jedi Knight Ulu Ulix without the courage to fly out in a fighter and face them.
With everyone working together, they finally stopped the invasion by the InterGalactic Banking Clan and Fourth Group's joint fleet.
As for the Fourth Civilization, their original plan had been for this joint fleet to push all the way to Ord Mantell, the capital of the Republic 8th Army, and then slowly put on a performance of a Geth invasion alongside the Galactic Republic.
