The Selurite fleet burst into Ayatu 6 Planet's space, and more than ten Vulture droid fighters launched from the Doomsday Battlefield-class battlecruisers.
The fighters plunged into the planet's atmosphere and bombed several major cities on Ayatu 6 Planet.
Ayatu 6 Planet launched some homemade fighters to intercept them, but they could not even touch the tails of the Vulture droid fighters. The planet's pitiful anti-air fire was equally useless.
More than ten Vulture droid fighters rampaged across the planet, repeatedly sweeping over the capital and casually firing upon and bombing ground targets.
However, the fighters' firepower was only so-so. With two laser cannons and four light concussion missiles, they blasted several holes into some buildings and caused more than a hundred casualties before they were finally shot down by anti-air fire and fighters numbering dozens of times their own.
Though the losses were not great, King Antebian-Prawl III of Ayatu 6 Planet looked at the burning buildings and the wreckage of Vulture droid fighters that had crashed to the ground, still belching thick smoke. He opened a channel to Roan Shryne, dropped to his knees with a thud, and tearfully begged the Republic fleet to return and save them as soon as possible.
Roan Shryne had no choice either. Although the Selurite fleet had now left and Tibrin had no fleet cover whatsoever, they still could not attack, because nearly every civilian on Tibrin supported the Confederacy of Independent Systems after the murder of Dictator Suribran-Tu.
The incident on Tibrin had become a huge media spectacle, and he could not possibly order an Orbital Bombardment. He could only hurriedly lead the fleet back to Ayatu 6 Planet and resume their entanglement with the Selurite fleet.
