"Agent Hobbs," Zhou Yi nodded, asking, "Do you have any evidence linking me to Toretto?"

"You and Toretto are close friends. You once worked at the same auto repair shop, and you've maintained contact since then." Hobbs was prepared, pulling out a thick stack of documents.

"Ha, I won't deny that, but there's a slight correction," Zhou Yi took the documents, flipped through them, and let out a light laugh. "You're missing two words—'used to be.' I used to be close friends with Toretto, but now? We've long since become strangers."

"Do you think such a flimsy excuse can fool me?" Hobbs frowned. "You're just deceiving yourself!"

"You say that like it's true, but I'm speaking the facts," Zhou Yi tilted his head, waving over the two bikini-clad girls playing volleyball nearby. "Or does Agent Hobbs have some solid proof that Dominic Toretto and I have been in recent contact?"

"If not," Zhou Yi wrapped his arms around the two girls, a smile spreading across his face, "then I'm terribly sorry, but I'll have to take my leave!"

With that, Zhou Yi turned to walk away.

But just as Hobbs had said to Elena in the car, if this were America, he might not have been able to do much to Zhou Yi—or at least would've needed a lot of preparation to make a move. Here in Rio, however, not America, Hobbs could resort to more direct, usable methods, with little concern for legality.

"Then I'm sorry, but I'll have to use force." Hobbs strode forward, reaching out to grab Zhou Yi's shoulder and pin him down. "This isn't U.S. soil, so your status and money mean nothing here. In this place, the bigger fist makes the rules!"

The next second, the shift in momentum caught everyone off guard.

Zhou Yi shoved the two girls aside, reacting with lightning speed. Without even looking, he seized Hobbs's hand and executed a shoulder throw, flinging Hobbs a good five or six meters away. The sheer force buried most of Hobbs's body in the sand pit!

Human physiques can't be generalized. Some people, in extreme rage, can slide-tackle a tiger to death. Zhou Yi, without a flicker of emotion, could hurl a two-hundred-plus-pound Hobbs five or six meters with a single shoulder throw... The only difference between them was that the slide-tackler might fatten up the tiger, while Zhou Yi could leave Hobbs dazed and struggling to recover for ages.

With over a hundred, nearly two hundred points in [Body], and the system's full-body stat boost, just in terms of strength, Zhou Yi was worth nearly two human limits. The same went for speed, coordination, reaction, defense, recovery—everything.

But Zhou Yi could control it perfectly. So, unless necessary, he looked and acted like an ordinary muscular guy.

Yet, when the need arose...

Nearly two human limits of stats—tossing a mere two-hundred-pound man... was that hard?

For Zhou Yi, it took some effort, sure, but it wasn't particularly difficult. It wasn't impossible!

Hobbs lay in the sand pit, utterly bewildered.

He was questioning his life.

"Who am I?" "Where am I?" "What happened?"

Hobbs genuinely hadn't processed what just occurred. In his perception, he'd only placed his hand on Zhou Yi's shoulder, then his hand was grabbed, an irresistible force overwhelmed him, and... he seemed to have... flown?

What the hell?

Sitting up, Hobbs wiped the sand from his head. Some sand clung to his deliberately grown stubble, making him look rather ridiculous.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to—just a small slip... Well, Agent Hobbs, if I may be blunt, you might need to train more. You're way too light." Zhou Yi walked over to Hobbs, grinning. "'The bigger fist makes the rules'—I like that line."

"Are you even human?" Hobbs finally pieced together what had happened, looking up with a stunned expression.

"I think..." Zhou Yi furrowed his brow, as if seriously pondering for a moment, "probably, yes."

"Alright, let's end today's chat here. It's getting late, and my bonfire party's waiting," Zhou Yi said with a smile, standing up and walking away. "Agent Hobbs, I hope next time you think twice before making a move. Otherwise... I might not hold back."

"Stop right there!"

Elena's voice made Zhou Yi halt in his tracks.

"Are you serious?" Zhou Yi turned to face the woman pointing a gun at him. For some reason, a flicker of interest sparked within him, and he spoke in a cold, emotionless tone, his face equally blank. "You're playing with fire, woman."

"Ugh... nah, too cringey, I'm done with that," Zhou Yi muttered to himself before Elena could react. "That domineering CEO vibe really isn't for me... Forget it, I'll stick to my original persona... Ahem, so, who are you? And why are you pointing a gun at me?"

This little stunt from Zhou Yi successfully loosened the gravity in Elena's eyes.

After all, the guy seemed a bit unhinged...

"You just assaulted a federal agent!" Thoughts aside, Elena spoke without hesitation. "You need to come with us for questioning!"

"Is that so?" Zhou Yi raised an eyebrow. "Alright, sounds like a valid reason. But do you think I'm a reasonable man, ma'am?"

"I don't need to think you are—I need you to be," Elena said, adjusting her grip on the pistol. "The bigger fist makes the rules!"

"I agree with that, but it should be my line," Zhou Yi chuckled. "You've got a gun; I've got capital. Why don't we let Agent Hobbs tell you if he really wants things to keep going like this?"

"Of course not." Hobbs stood up, walked over to Elena, shook his head, and lowered her gun, explaining briefly. "No guns. He's not a criminal—his record's spotless, and he's influential. This isn't worth making a mortal enemy over."

If it were just dragging him into the station for a few days, his superiors could easily cover for him. But pulling a gun—with people all around, and the guy being wealthy and clean—even if Hobbs completed the mission, he'd lose his job afterward and face Zhou Yi's retaliation.

Not worth the loss. No need.

"But—!" Elena's eyes widened.

"No 'buts,'" Hobbs shook his head, waved it off, and walked up to Zhou Yi, rolling his shoulders. "Come on, let's have another round!"
