Ruler of the Extreme North

As a Heavenly Snow Woman, Snow Empress is regarded as the born ruler of the Extreme North. Tian Meng describes her as valuing the region's dignity and her race's glory above her own survival. Its harsh climate keeps her domain largely inaccessible to humans 76 86.

She reveres the Ice God worshipped by the Extreme North's soul beasts. Before meeting Lu Jing, her future is overshadowed by the approaching seven-hundred-thousand-year Heavenly Tribulation 81 85.

Meeting Lu Jing

Snow Empress intervenes after Tian Meng forcibly brings Ice Empress away from her palace. Initially hostile, she withdraws some of her killing intent when she recognizes Tian Meng's voice speaking through Lu Jing. She remains skeptical of both the proposed sacrifice and their claim to come from the future 80 81.

Lu Jing proposes finding the era's own Tian Meng as proof of time travel, which Snow Empress accepts as a valid test. She subsequently witnesses Ice Empress and the earlier Tian Meng sacrifice themselves to Lu Jing, maintaining an ice dome around the cavern and studying his World-Annihilating Black Lotus 82 84.

She freezes and shatters successive lightning attacks, but the final assault leaves her critically weakened. Lu Jing awakens the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings' remnants, which destroy the tribulation and save her. Rescuing Lu Jing

After Gu Yuena abducts Lu Jing, Snow Empress frees Wang Dong'er from the remaining spatial confinement, catches her, and returns her to Heaven Dou City. She then travels to the Star Dou Great Forest to seek information from Di Tian, overpowering the Sky Azure Bull Python and Titan Giant Ape when they attack her 142 149 150 153 154.

Rather than accept Di Tian's instruction to wait, she uses the prospect of contacting the Divine Realm to pressure Gu Yuena into releasing Lu Jing. She subsequently carries him back toward Heaven Dou City 155 157 158.

Relationship with Lu Jing

Having survived the tribulation, Snow Empress becomes uncertain whether to return to her domain or remain with her companions. Qian Renxue's suggestion of a husband-and-wife relationship with Lu Jing forces her to confront unfamiliar romantic feelings 163 164.
