Luring

In the Dungeon Forest, the three players, having settled on a battle plan, took Wang Zhifan as their lead and cautiously advanced deeper inside in search of the Dungeon Boss.

But before long, an unexpected situation appeared before them.

"Big Shot, there are too many gorillas. We need to revise our plan."

At that moment, the three players peeked out from behind a barricade formed by the trunks of two trees growing side by side. In the forest some twenty meters ahead, they saw more than a dozen gorillas! Some were large, some small; some male, some female. Some leisurely chewed on unknown fruits, some played with one another, and some lay sprawled across tree trunks, fast asleep.

But the most eye-catching one was undoubtedly a Silverback Gorilla of exceptional size and strength, nearly three meters long and weighing over five hundred kilograms!

It was currently sitting on the ground like a human, leisurely watching its fellow gorillas, like a crouching statue of a bodybuilding world champion in gorilla form.

"We do need to adjust it. I didn't expect the Dungeon Boss not to be alone... If we attack rashly, things probably won't end well."

The glasses-wearing Gunner in the black leather jacket said that he could deal with the lesser monsters, but there was a risk that the situation could spiral out of control.

Though Wang Zhifan was cautious by nature and generally preferred to avoid potential risks, that did not mean he feared every challenge or dared not face enemies head-on.

He then picked some of the fruits the gorillas were eating nearby, slipped back toward the gorillas' territory, and began his operation.

Then, with his Strength boosted to 24 and his Agility to 17, he began throwing fruits at the Silverback Gorilla sitting on the ground from a great distance away.

Wang Zhifan's powerful attributes gave him strength and bodily control far beyond that of an ordinary person. After the first fruit he threw from afar landed slightly off target, the second landed fairly accurately on the Silverback Gorilla's back.

Though the Silverback Gorilla was huge and powerfully built, its reactions were not slow. When it noticed something had struck it—and that it hurt a little—it immediately dropped onto all fours, swiftly turned around, and looked toward the source of the attack, searching for the culprit.

That was exactly the reaction Wang Zhifan had been waiting for. He remained firmly concealed, but using the trees and leaves as cover, he threw the third fruit at the Silverback Gorilla from a considerable distance away, accurately striking its body.

The Silverback Gorilla immediately caught sight of the direction the attack had come from. It sprang upright, standing only on its two thick hind legs, while its equally massive forelimbs began pounding its broad, furry chest. At the same time, it bared its fangs and let out a deafening roar in Wang Zhifan's direction.

"Still not coming over? Here, have another one."

Seeing that the Silverback Gorilla was still striking poses instead of charging at him, Wang Zhifan showed it no mercy and threw another fruit from afar at the silverback as it beat its chest in warning, striking it directly in the chest.

This time, the Silverback Gorilla, toyed with again and again, was thoroughly enraged. Even though it still had not seen what its enemy looked like, that no longer mattered. All it wanted now was to pound the thing taunting it ahead into a pulp! With a kick of its hind legs, its massive body, like a giant muscle statue, leaped seven or eight meters forward. Then it charged straight toward Wang Zhifan on all fours. Whether branches or tree trunks stood in its way, anything that obstructed it was snapped apart by a single swing of its arms, each thicker than a human's body! It was like an invincible tank charging across a battlefield!

"This thing is fast... But those ordinary gorillas behind it didn't follow. The plan's going smoothly."

Wang Zhifan did not immediately flee. Instead, he first checked whether the dozen or so ordinary gorillas behind the Silverback Gorilla had followed their leader.

He found that the situation was fairly good. Most of the other gorillas were still doing what they had been doing before. Only a few had turned to watch their leader's movements, and none immediately came over to join in.
