Actually, when the wind moved, the banner moved, and the benevolent heart was moved, at that very moment, the wind was moving, the banner was moving, and the benevolent heart was moving. Yet at the same time, nothing had ever moved. That was simply how it was.

The wind's movement was the movement of natural law. The banner's movement was also the movement of natural law. The benevolent heart being moved was likewise movement under those laws.

When the wind arose through conditions and ripples gradually formed, the banner swayed with the wind. Following the wind and banner of that moment, the benevolent heart gave rise to a thought.

If the wind and banner had not moved, yet the benevolent heart moved, then regardless of whether the wind and banner moved, they had moved within the benevolent heart.

If the benevolent heart had not moved, that did not mean the wind and banner had truly stopped moving.

For example, we knew the Earth had always been turning, but if we could not become aware of it or sense it, did that mean the Earth truly was not moving?

Whether in appearance or in essence, it was moving. Our failure to perceive it belonged to the benevolent heart not being moved; it did not mean that what should move had stopped.

When you gave rise to thoughts, the benevolent heart was moved.
