Julian said with a smile, "That's right. Use Momonosuke's and Saint Saturn's lifespans to make a wish." Reg looked puzzled, and so did Gatlin. Rikiji, however, smiled and said, "I've heard of it. It's a technique Lord Flame Emperor developed, practically like the will of the world itself. Brother Flame Emperor usually wouldn't even tell people he wasn't close to about it."
Rikiji put on a mystical expression, pressed his palms together, and said, "I'm willing to use five hundred years of Momonosuke's lifespan in exchange for a breakthrough in strength." Then Rikiji added, "Momonosuke's life can't really be called a lifespan for now. It can only be called a dog's life. If that isn't enough, add five hundred years from that old turtle, Saint Saturn."
Julian thought to himself, Young people really caught on quickly. I only had to give him a hint, and he understood. He's promising material and worth putting to use.
Rikiji said seriously, "Of course, we can first use that old fool Saint Saturn's dog life to make the wish. If it isn't enough, we can use Momonosuke's to make up the difference." Gatlin's face darkened as he said, "We Giants are a very kind race. I can't do something like that." Kuroki smiled and said, "Rikiji and I didn't grow up in Elbaf. We can curse other people."
Reg supported Rikiji, saying furiously, "Those two beasts—one of them gropes people and grabs their asses every day. In Elbaf, at the very least, we'd break one of his hands. And that old beast, Saint Saturn, has apparently lived for over seven hundred years. Yet he still thinks about pimping people out for himself every day. He carries out a racial massacre every three years and uses living people for human experiments. He deserves to die.
