Julian and Herbert flew at top speed for twelve days, traveling from Long Ring Long Land to Marine Headquarters, Marineford. It was Julian's first time seeing this Marine fortress in person, a towering stronghold rising from the ground. He had seen the Battle of Marineford in the anime before, but the anime had never conveyed such grandeur.
Julian thought to himself, Marineford may be impressive, but compared to the Air Force Headquarters at Upper Yard in my Flame Dragon Kingdom, it's still a level below. My Air Force Headquarters is built on God Island, its battlefield area is far larger than Marineford's, and it's even two stories taller. Herbert smiled and asked, "Lord Flame Emperor, do you have something on your mind?"
