Julian watched as Herbert flew out over the sea and landed in front of the Devil Pirates. The more-than-two-hundred-meter-long dragon descended amid storms and thunder, looking truly terrifying.
The Devil Pirates' captain turned pale at the sight of the enormous Azure Dragon, over two hundred meters long, and shouted, "Are you kidding me? How could there be a dragon?!"
In Azure Dragon Form, Herbert opened his massive jaws and unleashed a breath of fire at the Devil Pirates' ship, instantly destroying it. The merchant ship being pursued belonged to a World Government member nation. Julian glanced at its flag and saw that it was a vessel of the Commercial Kingdom.
The King of the Commercial Kingdom saw how formidable Herbert's Azure Dragon was and shouted, "Thank you, Divine Dragon, for saving us! From now on, you will be the faith of our people!" The Devil Pirates who had fallen into the sea all cried out, "Sorry, Divine Dragon! We'll never be pirates again! Please don't kill us!"
Herbert soared away on clouds. Once he reached the sky, he flew behind Julian. Julian smiled and said, "Let's go." Herbert, still in Azure Dragon Form, spoke calmly through his draconic jaws. "Captain, I only gave that pirate crew a small punishment." Julian smiled. "Letting them suffer a little is enough."
Rayleigh said approvingly, "You're truly kind, lad!" In his Hundred Meter Flame Dragon form, Julian smiled, bared his fangs, and said, "They're just minor grunts. Even if they became pirates, they were following their captain's orders. Their crimes don't warrant death. Besides, many of those lowly grunts were forced into piracy. Killing people indiscriminately isn't a good thing."
