By noon, Julian rubbed Alice and Galette in his arms again, feeling their smooth skin beneath his hands, as if he were touching jade. He said, "Wake up. It's time for lunch."
Alice rubbed her eyes and said sleepily, "I don't want to get up. I want to rest a little longer." Galette beside her was also half-asleep. "Seriously, you don't sleep at night, and you won't even let others sleep during the day?"
Hearing them, Julian smiled. "Then I'll head out first." Alice quickly replied, "Go on ahead. I'll come once I've slept enough." Julian got up, tidied himself, and walked over to the mirror by the dressing table.
Julian looked at himself in the mirror. His fair, flawless oval face was matched with a head of red hair styled like Demon Lord Chonglou's. His face was full of heroic spirit, and with his white cloak-like coat, he looked truly imposing and extraordinary.
Julian grinned. "That boy from back then has shed his childish appearance and taken on the air of maturity. I'm going to become the Sea King. Lululu." Satisfied, he left the room. Men remained boys until death—there was nothing wrong with that saying.
When Julian arrived on the second floor, every crew member who had been eating stood up, set down their trays, and respectfully shouted, "Lord Flame Emperor!" Julian smiled at them. "Keep eating. You don't need to salute during meals from now on."
The crew all answered, "Understood, Lord Flame Emperor!" Then they sat back down and continued eating from their trays. Seeing today's menu, Julian told a staff member, "Bring me a serving of the Body Strengthening Recipe, and another serving of braised beef." After that, he sat in the spacious seat at the head of the table and waited for his food.
