A little after eight in the morning, Julian gathered the crew on the beach. All the Division Captains and crew members stood in six rows, looking at Julian with admiration. Julian said sternly, "Today, we'll continue exploring Bugi Island. Our second task is to hunt those giant wild cattle and sheep to replenish our food supplies." All the Division Captains replied, "Understood!"
Julian added, "Today, we'll thoroughly explore this deserted island. Every corner must be searched." All the Division Captains replied, "Understood, Captain!" Julian said, "All crew members, move out by division!" The Division Captains shouted, "Brothers, follow me!" Watching the six teams charge grandly toward the center of the island, Julian suddenly felt like a great general commanding thousands of troops. Then he instantly felt that he was acting a little silly. Rubbing his head, Julian muttered, "I actually got myself all fired up."
Julian activated his Earth-Earth Fruit ability and transformed into an over-eighty-meter Mud Dragon Giant Soldier. This time, he planned to use his Devil Fruit ability to rapidly explore the deserted island and clear out useful resources, following a policy of leaving nothing behind. This was not yet the Great Age of Pirates, and those deserted islands had barely been developed by anyone. There might even be Devil Fruits here. That was Julian's real goal. If he found one, they could have another Devil Fruit ability user. The thought made Julian laugh heartily.

Julian activated his Earth-Earth Fruit ability again and used Mud Dragon Giant Soldier Gundam Mode to begin exploring. He was greatly looking forward to finding a Devil Fruit on the island. Julian said, "You little pervert Momonosuke, Fool King Kozuki Oden, I won't hold back." He began making a wish. "I'm willing to trade that little beast Momonosuke's five hundred years of lifespan for one Devil Fruit. If that isn't enough, add Kozuki Oden's five hundred years as well. After saying that, Julian began exploring the deserted island, heading first toward its upper reaches. As he searched from upstream to downstream, each step in Mud Dragon Giant Mode carried him dozens of meters. Julian discovered two Titan Pythons in the grass. Upon seeing Julian's over-eighty-meter giant Gundam, the two giant snakes immediately fled. Seeing the escaping Pythons, Julian fired two Cliff Blades, instantly cutting the two giant snakes into more than a dozen pieces. Julian directly killed the snakes and took their gallbladders.
Julian said, "These snake gallbladders aren't that big, only around two pounds each. Those two Titan Pythons were only a little over ten meters long." Julian had directly sent them to the afterlife by force. Those Titan Pythons should have been reunited with their whole family. The big ones had already been wiped out, so the little ones should die together too.
Julian used Gundam Mode to travel again, moving through the forest until he reached a hilly area. A vast stretch of trees covered the sky above the slopes. Julian said, "These trees are way too tall." He looked around and noticed a fruit growing on one of the trees that looked very much like a Devil Fruit. Staring at the fruit before him, Julian said, "It really looks like a Devil Fruit. Momonosuke really is the key to this world. Then I definitely won't hold back in the future."
Julian was so happy that he could barely contain himself. The fruit tree did not bear many fruits, only a dozen or so, but one fruit was especially conspicuous—bright red and covered in Devil Fruit patterns. Julian plucked that Devil Fruit and stored it inside his body. He said, "I'll study what kind of fruit it is once I'm back on the ship."
Julian was overjoyed. Laughing, he said, "Hahaha! I really did unlock this world's secret." He also spotted an enormous nest in the tree and immediately used Mud Dragon Giant Soldier to jump up and inspect it. The nest was huge, an oval nest over six meters across, and there was an egg inside. Julian guessed it was probably the egg of some giant bird, or perhaps a flying dragon egg. It should belong to a large creature. Without another word, Julian stored the egg in his Mud Space as well.
Julian continued his exploration. He crossed hills along the way but found nothing else. The entire route was quiet. Julian said, "I wonder whether there are any more Devil Fruits on this island. If there are, that would be wonderful." Passing through a vast patch of grass, Julian arrived at a small pond. There were plenty of freshwater fish in it, as well as a large pack of wolves stationed around it—more than twenty in total. These wolves were enormous, with shoulder heights of two meters and body lengths of over five meters. They were all oversized giant wolves, baring their fangs at Julian.
Julian attacked with a Cliff Sword. Dozens of hardened black mud blades over fifty meters long instantly surged from the ground toward the wolf pack, wiping them out in an instant. Julian said, "I like clearing the way with ultimate moves. I've never liked playing house." After Julian finished exploring all of Bugi Island, he found no other large creatures such as tigers or Mountain Lions. Though those beasts were huge, they were extremely cautious. The moment they saw Julian's mud giant Gundam, they began running away.
Julian did not hold back either, using large numbers of Cliff Blades to eliminate those creatures one by one. He knew these creatures were very dangerous. They loved launching sneak attacks on humans at night. If he had not been in Gundam Mode, those beasts would definitely have killed him.
Julian also found a large number of wild cattle and sheep, along with wild boars and wild horses. These wild animals were gathered on a large grassland, grazing. Without another word, Julian killed two wild cattle and brought them back toward the camp. Julian said, "Pablo, the brothers will eat this at noon. Go arrange it." Looking at the enormous wild cattle, each weighing three tons, Pablo replied, "Understood, Captain. At noon, we'll make braised beef and charcoal-grilled steaks."
Julian felt that Bugi Island was indeed a very suitable place for training. Once all the crew members returned and finished lunch, he could organize everyone to begin training and raise the strength of the entire group. The island was especially quiet, and it had such enormous herbivores that could be used as protein to improve everyone's physical condition.
