The stretch ended with Li Shiming reunited with Yin Shilan at her mountain peak as Master Luo arrived with Xiao Ke and another Golden Core cultivator.

• Elder Lu killed Jue Tu Buddha, but Li Shiming and Li Yuanba joined forces to kill Elder Lu and erase the battlefield traces.
• Li Shiming studied Elder Lu’s corpse-refinement and formation knowledge, advanced his alchemy, and became a Northern Shu Merchant Guild Guest Alchemist while Li Yuanba received Core Formation resources.
• Li Yuanba left the Vast Array Sect and fought off Demonic Cultivators, while Li Shiming departed Shu Mountain Sect and was ambushed by Ji Hongbo and Hang Yuqing at the Hang Family Market.

As Yin Shilan’s family settled on the Northern Shu Continent, Li Yuanba took control of Ten Thousand Swords Peak and began a deadly clash with the Golden Core cultivator Niu Ziru.

• Li Shiming refined Jue Tu Buddha’s corpse into Killborn, then found the Five Qi Sect ruins, bonded with a Spirit-Sealing Phantom Serpent, and discovered the Five Rhymes Qi Refining Art and Five Elements Grand Dao.
• After returning to Shu Mountain Sect, Li Shiming received Old Ancestor Fan’s support and resources, became a Northern Shu Merchant Guild guest elder, and successfully refined Advanced Grade Third Grade pills.
• Li Shiming’s alchemy earned him recognition from Shu Mountain Sect and Thousand Leaves Temple, while he exchanged a Youthful Countenance Pill with Master Luo for Array Flags and agreed to help bring Yin Shilan’s family to the Northern Shu Continent.

Li Yuanba formed his Golden Core and gained greater power while Li Shiming survived an attack at Fire Cloud Valley and uncovered intelligence hidden among Manager Feng Yi’s treasures. The arc ended with Li Shiming returning to the sect to study, while Li Yuanba settled into seclusion on North Guard Island.

• Li Yuanba killed Niu Ziru and discovered that Elder Yue had arranged the attack, then worried that using Lotus Steps had exposed his inheritance.
