Thunder rumbled!
At that moment, it felt as if all of New Mexico had been covered by thunderclouds. The dense clouds hung low like a collapsing sky, making it difficult even for Coulson to breathe.
Yet he still looked at Steve with eyes full of awe and admiration.
Steve held the Hammer of Thor in one hand and gripped his shield tightly in the other, standing tall before the Destroyer.
He was not even half as tall as the Destroyer. Standing before it, he looked as weak as a child, yet at that moment, Steve showed no fear.
Or rather, he had never been afraid.
He remembered the days before he enlisted. Back then, he had been skinny as a monkey and plagued by countless illnesses. Bucky had always said he worried Steve would accidentally die one day.
But even then, when faced with several strong men blocking his path, he had never been afraid.
"Captain..." Coulson murmured.
"Don't just stand there." Nick urgently tugged him, then quickly ran back.
"Everyone, get on the plane!"
Because he knew a woman who could glow, he understood perfectly well that the battle to come was not something ordinary people like them could interfere with.
If they stayed, they might be wiped out by the aftershock the very next second.
Very soon, only Steve and the Destroyer remained. After the Quinjet rapidly withdrew from the battlefield, it lost sight of the fight as well.
Great clouds of swept-up sand and dust hung like a curtain, concealing everything.
Fury tightly clenched the old pager in his hand, his heart hanging in suspense.

A tornado formed by the powerful storm wrapped around Steve and the Destroyer.
Darkness fell.
Within the heavy thunderclouds, the occasional flashes of lightning became the only source of
