Background / History

Yang Yu was originally a modern salaryman who transmigrated into the body of a six-year-old boy in Sacred Soul Village. During his Martial Soul awakening, he manifested the Dragon of Eternity and Time and the Chaos Creation Lotus, along with Innate Level 30 Soul Power. Bibi Dong personally witnessed the awakening, recognized his potential, and took him from the village as her personal disciple. 1

In Martial Soul City, Yang Yu was named the Holy Son and given exceptional resources by Martial Soul Hall. He endured the Hundred Herbs Soul Quenching Soup to strengthen his young body, studied rare Martial Soul texts in the Library Pavilion, and used an ancient Dragon Clan record to formulate a plan for absorbing a high-year Soul Ring. 2 3 5

He successfully absorbed the five-thousand-year Void Cicada as his first Soul Ring, reaching peak Level 33. The event placed him in direct conflict with Tang San and Xiao Wu, whose attempted ambush was stopped by Yue Guan and Gui Mei. Bibi Dong eventually brought Yang Yu under direct supervision in the Papal Palace.
