Before long, Mo Li and the others caught sight of the village fence in the distance.
However, unlike before, Mo Li and Rimuru saw quite a few small tents around the village.
"Ari, do you know what those are?"
Rimuru looked at the small tents in the distance with a puzzled expression. As far as Rimuru remembered, there had been no such tents outside the village when they left.
Mo Li frowned.
"I don't know either. Let's get back as quickly as possible. Something must have happened in the village."
After pondering for a moment, Mo Li spoke to Rimuru and the others behind him.
"Gobta, Rimuru and I are going to pick up the pace. Follow after us."
With that, Mo Li picked Rimuru up and sprinted toward the village.
Seeing this, Gobta sped up as well. Unfortunately, there was a clear gap in strength. How could he possibly catch up to Mo Li and Rimuru?
"Master Kaigin, something has happened in our village. I need to get back as soon as possible. Please wait here for a moment."
As he spoke, Gobta summoned his contracted Direwolf, mounted it, and dashed away.
Only Kaijin and the others were left staring blankly at each other.
"Big Brother, what do we do?"
The three brothers asked Kaijin, their voices carrying a trace of confusion.
"What else can we do? Follow them."
Kaijin replied irritably.
"Hey, wait for us!"
After saying that, Kaijin chased after them.
"We should follow too."
The three brothers and the other technicians followed after him.
As soon as they reached the village entrance, Mo Li and Rimuru discovered the Goblins who had come to seek refuge and set up camp outside the village.
Rimuru looked at the scene in confusion before stepping into the village.
