It was a brick.
Yes, a metal brick.
It was engraved with a mass of inscriptions she couldn't decipher.
She didn't know how powerful it was, since she hadn't used it yet, but its hardness had astonished her.
Even squeezing the metal with all her strength hadn't deformed it in the slightest.
With that in mind, Tsunade hurled the brick at Chiyo's puppet.
Chiyo hadn't seen clearly what Tsunade had taken out. She assumed it was some kind of concealed weapon.
Though it did seem rather large for one.
"What is that thing?"
Chiyo was just about to have her puppet knock Tsunade's weapon away when she noticed something odd about it.
The weapon suddenly grew!
Originally no larger than a brick, it became over two meters long and more than half a meter wide.
From a distance, it looked like a massive rock hurtling toward the puppet.
Although puzzled by what it was, Chiyo didn't slow down. She controlled the puppet and drove its fist into the brick.
Clang!
The brick was knocked back, flying toward Tsunade.
As it flew back, it began to shrink. By the time it returned to Tsunade's hand, it was back to its original size.
Tsunade examined the tiny dent in the center of the brick.
It hadn't been there before.
"So that's how it works..."
Tsunade had more or less figured out the ability of the puppet Chiyo had brought out.
It was probably something that enhanced its strength. An ability to pulverize anything it touched was also possible, but the puppet hadn't destroyed her brick, which meant there was a limit to what it could break.
Of course, Chiyo might also have been deliberately holding back.
Just waiting for Tsunade to take the bait.
Tsunade toyed with the brick in her hand.
