Not long after the puppets came looking for Hinata, a knock sounded at the meeting room door.
The other shinobi villages contacted the Hidden Leaf Village through secret techniques. They had encountered the same situation as the Leaf.
After comparing their information, they finally learned that the entire shinobi world had experienced the same thing.
This made the people of the Leaf a little more convinced that the Starry Sky Beast existed.
Then they remembered the hole that had suddenly appeared in the sky a few months earlier, along with the meteorite that had split in half and abruptly vanished.
Could that have been the Starry Sky Beast too?
But now that they had suddenly been told a Starry Sky Beast was approaching, they had no idea what to do.
Even so, the Leaf entered a state of war readiness, and its civilians prepared to head to the shelters at any moment.
Meanwhile, Naruto and Sasuke entered the mental space once again.
This time, however, the Mental Space contained more than just him and the Sage of Six Paths.
"What are you doing here?"
Naruto and Sasuke pointed at each other, their expressions plainly asking why the other had appeared in their mental space.
"I brought you both here."
The Sage of Six Paths appeared before them.
"Sage of Six Paths, you called us here because of the Starry Sky Beast, right?"
The Sage of Six Paths nodded. "Since you already know about it, this will be much easier to explain."
With a wave of his hand, an image appeared on the surface of the water beneath their feet.
It showed a creature that closely resembled a snake.
That alone would not have been surprising. What shocked them was the backdrop behind the enormous serpent.
It was out in space.
