"What kind of weapon would you like me to forge for you?"

"I'll leave it entirely to Lady Hinata's judgment."

Nagai Ukaku was exceedingly respectful.

Hinata touched the horn on her forehead. "Then let's make a suit of armor."

Seeing this, the Third Hokage took out a scroll. With a rustling roar, the entire basement was nearly filled with metal that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Hinata almost got buried beneath it.

Hinata silently stared at the metal at her feet. Had her teacher moved all the metal in the village here?

Of course not. In such a short time, the Third Hokage had only emptied the metal from two warehouses. There were still several more.

"I'm still missing one thing."

Hinata said this as she expanded the basement.

"What is it? I'll go find it."

Right before the Third Hokage's eyes, Hinata expanded the basement by another round and moved all the metal ores to one side.

"Chakra."

"Since it'll be used by someone else, and since the metal conducts chakra, it would be better to engrave the spell inscriptions with chakra."

"I understand."

The Third Hokage left.

Hinata looked at the basement, which contained nothing but ore, and waved her hand. Several larger chunks of ore flew out from the corner.

They were then enveloped by flames that appeared out of thin air. Under the intense heat, the impurities in the ore gradually broke down and turned into molten metal. The molten metal then transformed into a workbench and several stools.

The workbench and stools landed on the ground, and cold water suddenly poured down over them.

Once they had cooled, Hinata said to Nagai Ukaku, who was standing to one side, "Sit."

Nagai Ukaku touched the stool, which still held a trace of warmth, and sat down.
