As the Space Exploration Conference went on, the issues under discussion grew increasingly heated.
"Our side believes that Otherworldly Users should be temporarily excluded from the space bases, because they themselves represent monsters—or rather, they are originally part of the monsters," the Western Continent representative suddenly said indignantly.
"Hmph. Enjoying their protection on one hand while slandering them behind their backs on the other—humans truly are despicable. They never thank those who saved them," the Eastern Continent representative sneered.
"That is precisely a sign of maturity. Just like a mature feudal emperor, who uses his great generals while guarding against them, even taking the initiative to get rid of them," said the Western Continent representative, without the slightest shame.
"That's right. Since we intend to establish a clean human society in space, there naturally should no longer be any Otherworldly Users. Otherworldly species themselves easily attract monsters," Miken's representative agreed.
The Eastern Continent representative glared at the two of them and snorted, but said nothing more.
He could understand why they said such things. The internal powers in those two regions had always been fragmented, while Otherworldly Users had no interest in Space Exploration—so the factions directing space development were all led mainly by Ordinary People.
The reason was simple. Earth's environment was becoming increasingly suitable for Otherworldly Users. People had only ever heard of migration because an environment was unsuitable for survival; they had never heard of people leaving because the environment was too suitable for survival.
But Eastern Continent was different. Eastern Continent was unified, and Otherworldly Users held tremendous influence. Or rather, as time passed, only Otherworldly Users could make strategic decisions.
Given two strategic geniuses of equal caliber, the length of their lives directly determined who would achieve the final victory—just like a monkey and Old
