Inside the castle, Tsukikage Den and Dafflin met a soldier named Gavi Prorella. He was General John's secretary, or perhaps his confidant.
"You want to establish a settlement? That's good. I'll speak to General John, and then he'll help you establish it," he said.
Tsukikage Den could hardly believe his ears. His English was not very good, so he asked Dafflin for confirmation. "What did he say?"
"He said he'd tell the general, and the general would personally help us establish the settlement." Dafflin was somewhat confused as well.
"The general himself will help us? What kind of arrangement is that? Isn't a general supposed to be some lofty big shot? Why would he personally concern himself with something like us?" Tsukikage Den's Island Country mindset simply could not understand the situation.
How could a High-rank person personally help a Low-rank person? "Don't worry about it. General is probably just a self-styled title, roughly equivalent to a captain's position." Dafflin found it easy enough to understand.

Tsukikage Den instinctively clutched his head.
"What's wrong, young man? Too much radiation? I think you need electrotherapy." General John walked over and pointed toward an Electric Archway in the distance.
