How could he get in touch with a Disaster Anomaly Principal? So far, he knew of only two: Ice Wall, the patron behind the Four Scumbags; and Fire Eye, the patron behind the Sole Supremacy Society.
He just had no way to contact them.
Forget it. He would find Old Ai instead.
It was simpler, mainly.
He pulled Ai Han De Bu out of the Blacklist and called him.
"Do you need something from me?" Little Octopus appeared.
"I want to meet whatever is behind you."
"Huh? There's something behind me?" Little Octopus was so frightened that it sprayed ink, its eight tentacles flailing wildly.
"Honestly, if you're acting, how many Little Golden Men would Oscar owe you?" Wenren Sheng asked helplessly.
"I don't understand what you're talking about. I'm going to play with Huanhuan." Little Octopus looked around.
"Enough. Let the one behind the scenes possess you. I want to talk to it," Wenren Sheng said directly.
Little Octopus froze, and then its body slowly began to change shape.
Before long, it had become a cube.
"Oh, what should I call you?" Wenren Sheng asked.
The cube asked in confusion, "You never seem afraid of us. Why?"
"Why should I fear you?" Wenren Sheng countered.
"Aren't you afraid of death? Isn't death your greatest fear?" the cube continued.
"Living like a dog only gets you killed sooner. Only by living like a human can you truly live," Wenren Sheng said calmly.
"Many people have postured like you, yet when faced with real death, they all fell to their knees and begged for mercy. Many people swear at eighteen or twenty that people should die at forty, yet they always shamelessly cling to life past forty, past fifty, past sixty..." The cube sounded disdainful.
"You're the same," Wenren Sheng retorted.
