The elders listened, half convinced and half doubtful.
"Since that's the case, we should still arrange our retreat route in space. After all, the universe of space is the most real and tangible thing, something we can truly observe." The Grand Elder made the decision.
However, some elders still worried. "The enemy has a Space Fortress. If our retreat route is exposed, they can rush over there. Since it won't be on Earth, they can use star-shattering tactics without restraint. We'll be even more vulnerable instead."
The elders nodded one after another.
Though Earth was dangerous, it had one advantage: the enemy could not unleash their power without restraint and still had to consider the vast number of civilians.
"Therefore, only one person can know the retreat route we establish. Even I will not know. Only at the most dangerous moment can we collectively jump there, ensuring that no one on Earth knows it exists." The Grand Elder agreed with everyone's idea.
"Wait! There's a most vicious scheme hidden here—the Demons are providing the technology, so it will be easy for them to learn which planet we jump to. They can then use that to threaten us into serving them." The Fourth Elder suddenly warned them.
"That's right. We need to thoroughly master this technology for crossing the void, so that we can travel to distant starfields on our own." The Grand Elder gave his final word.
Everyone nodded. This was the only viable path.
"Kill!"
A battle was erupting in the Demon World.
Big Cat's newly chosen Hero, the necromancer Sandru, was commanding his sea of Vampires, along with a sea of Bone Dragons enhanced with Vampire Touch, in an assault on a Demon Fortress.
"Sandru: Level 40."
