The factory owners quickly banded together.
They should have joined forces long ago. But having lived only amid the milk and honey of profits and divine power, they had forgotten the cruelty of reality. More and more divine power was used to arm their guard teams.
With their direct descendants as the framework and selected elites as the flesh, a massive guard force known as the "Light Defenders" emerged.
The Light Defenders won their first battle.
They executed 3,025 workers involved in the uprising in Kao Di Chui City and smashed 8,888 large and small statues of the Darkness God.
But it was useless, because the Darkness God did not actually need statues to bestow divine power. Statues merely gave people psychological comfort, allowing them to show that they were more devout than others.
The workers possessed dark divine power, but they lacked training, food, and elite junior officers. They could only use divine power in the crudest ways, making them only a third as efficient as their opponents, perhaps even a tenth.
When their numbers were great enough, they could overwhelm the enemy. But when both sides had similar numbers, or the gap was not large, they could not.
The workers' underground organizations swiftly realized this problem. They began forming larger forces and exploring more powerful ways to use dark divine power.
Before long, a monster known as the "Rampage Beast" was born.
As long as someone possessed extreme rage, one could take form.
The moment it was born, it mastered all manner of techniques for wielding Darkness Power. Its combat strength was comparable to that of a guard who had undergone ten years of military training.
Creating one required only a worker and a week of time.
And they had far too many such workers.
