Sword Sect Disciples

Seeing a longsword materialize out of thin air in Lu Nan's hand, the Burly Man's pupils contracted.

Then his expression turned excited. "A storage bag??"

"Who would've thought we brothers would be so lucky today? Not only do we get to have some fun, we've even run into a fat sheep."

As he spoke, he took several steps forward and stared fixedly at Lu Nan. "Kid, hand over your storage bag, and this lord might just spare your miserable life!"

The others looked at him in surprise as well.

Their faces all wore ill intent. Seeing this, Lu Nan sighed softly.

Without another word, he gripped the longsword in his hand.

Adjusting his stance, he faced the Burly Man. "Go in peace!!"

As his words fell, everyone saw only a faint flash of light.

Lu Nan sheathed his longsword and slowly walked toward the others.

"Boss? Boss???" Seeing Lu Nan approach as though no one else existed, the group looked again at the Burly Man, who had not moved at all.

Unease gradually crept into their hearts, and they called out to him.

Unfortunately, the Burly Man still gave no response, while Lu Nan was now only two or three meters away from them.

The woman lying on the ground also widened her beautiful eyes, staring intently at Lu Nan.

"Y-you... who are you?? What did you do to our boss??"

Lu Nan turned back to look at the bodies strewn across the ground. "Dead!!!"

Seeing that the woman could still move, he turned and began searching the corpses.

Though it was his first time killing someone, he felt no resistance at all.

As he searched the corpses, he felt no discomfort whatsoever.

In the blink of an eye, he had stripped all the valuable items from the bodies.

Carrying a string of Skull Pouches, he walked over to the woman.

"How do I transfer this Earth Vein Qi???"

The woman did not dare hesitate and hurriedly said, "Just bring them close to your collector, Young Master!"

Lu Nan nodded and brought them all close to his yellow gourd.

Several wisps of black smoke immediately slipped out of the Skull Pouches and into the gourd.

He picked up the gourd for a look. A thin layer of Shui Ze had already gathered at its bottom.

"Only this much? Not even one-tenth!"

Hearing this, the woman at once said, "Young Master, you may not know that these people are all lackeys of Young Master Chi Hun from the Soul Refining Sect.

"The Earth Vein Qi they seize must all be handed over."

"You mean that Young Master Chi Hun has a great deal of Earth Vein Qi in his hands?" Lu Nan turned to look at the woman.

The woman nodded repeatedly, then respectfully said, "This little woman is Huang Ying of the Azure Lotus Sword Sect. Thank you, Young Master, for saving my life."

But Lu Nan merely waved his hand. "It was nothing more than a helping hand. How did you end up in their hands?"

"To maximize our gains, Junior Sister Su Wan suggested that we split up.

"After twelve hours, we were to gather again at the designated location!"

Huang Ying said softly, "Who would have thought that not long after separating from the main group,

"Junior Brother Ye and I would be targeted by those Soul Refining Sect bastards!"

"Junior Brother Ye? Ye Shuang??" Lu Nan raised a brow.

Huang Ying said in astonishment, "Young Master knows Junior Brother Ye??"

"I've heard of him!!" Lu Nan replied casually. "Right! Do you know where nearby has the most Erosion Beasts?"

"I do! Twenty li southwest of here, there is a valley with quite a few wolf-shaped Erosion Beasts inside."

Lu Nan's eyes lit up. "Thanks!!"

He turned to leave, only for the woman behind him to call out.

"Y-Young Master, do you happen to have any spare clothes..." Huang Ying's voice grew lower and lower.

Lu Nan turned back, only then realizing.

Huang Ying's clothes had already been torn to rags by those men.

Now that he looked, everything that should and should not have been exposed was exposed.

Feeling his gaze, Huang Ying's face flushed crimson, and she instinctively curled herself up.

"Cough, cough, cough!! I do, I do!!" As he spoke, he took out a set of black robes from his Ring.

Huang Ying was immensely grateful. She hurriedly took them and draped them over herself.

"Then let's go!" Lu Nan opened his eyes and looked at her.

Though her face was still pale, her aura had stabilized considerably.

"First, we'll go to that valley you mentioned!!"

The two continued racing toward the valley, one after the other.

Before long, they arrived at the mouth of a valley riddled with ravines.

Looking at the endless expanse of yellow earth, Lu Nan frowned slightly.

With a sweep of his hand, a streak of azure sword light shot swiftly toward a giant yellow wolf.

In the blink of an eye, it cleaved the beast in two, whereupon it transformed into a dim light floating where it had fallen.
