Nar looked at the Earth Bear that had been blasted deep into the forest, its fate unknown, and cursed under his breath.

With a grave expression, he looked toward Chirame, who was also staring at him from not far away. He silently considered his next move, his hand that had been resting on the spellbook preparing to lower it and cast another spell.

Just then, a deafening roar came from deep within the woods.

Accompanied by that roar and the sharp crackling of snapping branches, the Earth Bear charged back onto the battlefield like a heavy truck, moving with astonishing speed and force.

However, the Earth Bear's condition clearly did not look good. Three enormous claw marks, deep enough to expose bone, had appeared across its broad, thick shoulder. Dark red blood streamed from those savage wounds, staining half the giant bear's body crimson.

Even so, it showed no intention of retreating when facing this beast dozens of meters taller than itself.

The Earth Bear turned its head, its huge bear eyes fixed resolutely on Nar. It gave him a slight nod, signaling him to continue casting, then slowly moved toward the center of the field and stood protectively in front of him.

On the other side, Gromar's hideous dragon head slowly extended forward. Its long, nimble tongue lightly licked across its razor-sharp teeth, a sight that made people instinctively want to flee.

Then, its red-glowing eyes narrowed slightly before it suddenly opened its mouth wide. A torrent of fire, thicker, hotter, and fiercer than before, erupted like a volcano and swept straight toward the Earth Bear.

Facing the dragon head's sudden attack, the Earth Bear showed no fear.
