Sun Hang studied the scar closely. Judging by its shape, it seemed to have been branded on with some kind of red-hot iron. But Noor's scar had mostly healed by now, its surface covered in raised scar tissue, making it impossible for Sun Hang to make out the mark's original design.

According to Noor, the mark's special effect would disappear once the scar healed completely. Sun Hang could not sense any memetic aura from it, but that did not mean it definitely was
