As for another corpse whose body had been blown into two halves, countless tentacles extended from both its upper and lower body, reconnecting the severed torso. Then, the tentacles began spreading upward and downward, quickly forming something like a sea anemone. The body wrapped within the tentacles visibly shriveled away.
Even Liu Meng, a veteran who had gone through several real battles, could not help drawing in a sharp breath at the bizarre sight. The two rookie soldiers carrying the stretcher beside him had long since frozen in place, their faces full of helpless confusion.
