"You really are a clever little one." Sun Hang gave him a thumbs-up.
"Don't try to change the subject! I'm asking you a question!" The Inverted One sounded extremely displeased. "Where did you come from, kid? Why do you smell like something that makes me very uncomfortable?"
"A smell?" Sun Hang raised his arm and sniffed it. "You mean body odor? Tsk, with weather like this, I shouldn't stink after skipping a bath for a day or two, right?"
As if remembering something, Sun Hang quickly undid the bandages around his wrist—the wound the Zhou family's Female Anomaly had strangled him with her hair still had not healed. As the bandages came off, dark red beads of blood immediately seeped from the flesh, and a faint bloody scent spread through the air.
The Inverted One's expression changed drastically. The Female Anomaly drifted away without a sound, and even the nearby townspeople turned to look in Sun Hang's direction.

He scrambled away from Sun Hang, curling himself into a ball. Perhaps he had grown accustomed to the sensation of switching his hands and feet; even after righting himself, he still braced himself on the ground with both hands while raising his legs high to shield his head.
A small knife, its blade less than half a palm long, was clamped between his toes. Its rust-covered edge pointed straight at Sun Hang.
"You're not human! You definitely aren't human!" the Inverted One shrieked hysterically.
"That's rich coming from you. It's like you're human yourself?" Sun Hang
