"Damn it."
Looking at the tentacles that nearly filled the entire underground space, some rather explicit images involuntarily flashed through Wang Xiyi's mind.
She disliked tentacles, with the exception of the ones Sun Hang made from mycelium.
And when it came to things she disliked, she had only one way of dealing with them.
Burn them to ashes.
Wang Xiyi took a deep breath, then let out an earth-shaking dragon roar. The dark blue flames around her immediately turned several shades paler, and the temperature within the underground space began to soar sharply.
A massive amount of water evaporated from the underground lake. Billowing white steam rose up, concealing both sides from view.
Wang Xiyi suddenly spewed out a blast of searing Dragon Breath. The pale-blue fireball streaked with white landed in the lake, instantly triggering a massive explosion. The entire underground space began to shake violently. Countless rocks shattered and fell, and it looked as though this underground space was about to suffer an even greater collapse.
Wang Xiyi was not afraid at all—even if the collapsed cave buried her alive, she could blast her way out with the powerful physique granted to her by the Black Dragon Meme.
But the collapse she had expected did not happen. When the steam dispersed, she was shocked to discover that the tentacles originally lashing toward her had all attached themselves to the rock walls and ceiling, forming a reliable support structure that held up the crumbling stone.
It actually gave up attacking to protect the cave? A question mark surfaced in Wang Xiyi's mind. Is this underground cave important to the Cult Organization? Or... is this Octopus Anomaly not that resilient? If the cave collapses, will it be buried to death?
No matter which guess was correct, Wang Xiyi made up
