"I'm afraid that won't be enough." A hunter shook his head with a wry smile. "I've never been here myself, but I heard it from a survivor who had dealt with carnivorous ants before. These bugs turned into anomalous creatures and became many times more fire-resistant. Your improvised flamethrower is enough for ordinary ants, but against carnivorous ants, I'm afraid you'll need incendiaries like napalm or white phosphorus."
"After all that talk, has anyone here actually seen carnivorous ants?" A Huntress with purple-dyed hair frowned and slapped the car door, producing a series of loud bangs. "Why does every one of you sound like an expert on dealing with carnivorous ants?"
The others looked at each other, then all shook their heads. "No... we only heard other people talk about them."
"I saw the report documents released by Dragon City's Hunter Administration. I figured the descriptions of anomalous creatures like carnivorous ants should be pretty detailed," another hunter muttered.
"Detailed, my ass! Do you really think those administrative departments are kind enough to hand out intelligence for free? Unless you're a hunter working for them, free hunters like us have to pay if we want the most detailed information!" scoffed a hunter who was bare-chested, his skin covered in specks of mineral crystals. "I haven't seen the carnivorous ant research report, but I once paid someone for a research report on another anomalous creature. Guess how much more it had than the publicly available free intel?"
"How much more?" asked the hunter who had muttered earlier.
"The free intel was only two pages long. The paid intel was a whole folder packed with over a hundred and twenty reports. It clearly stated whether that anomalous creature feared acid or alkali, and even which parts of it were edible!" the bare-chested
