Sun Hang shoved the young official into the warehouse and casually shut the iron door behind him.
The next second, the lock on the iron door "melted" into a single lump of iron, and the gap between the door and its frame vanished, becoming one solid whole.
By then, the short man who had run the fastest had already rushed to the supermarket entrance and fired another shot into the girl's body lying on the ground.
The sound of the lead bullet tearing through flesh was like a stimulant. The short man let out an excited shriek, kicked the girl's body over, and fired another shot into her front.
"That's enough, Monkey. Stop playing around!" the burly man holding the shield barked in a low voice. "Before the City Defense Guard gets here, load everything we can carry onto the vehicles. Burn the rest!"
Sun Hang was currently hiding in a corner of the supermarket. A pile of boxes taller than a person concealed him, making the three men assume that everyone in the supermarket had escaped through the back door and nobody remained.
If the enemies had only been ordinary humans, Sun Hang would have acted without hesitation. But with an infected among them, he had to think twice.
He could smell the scent unique to infected on the man, but he could not judge his strength—Sun Hang could not tell whether this "concealment" effect came from the infected's own ability or some external aid.
"What are you scared of? With Big Brother here, even if the City Defense Guard comes, they'll just be delivering kills to him!" the short man called Monkey shouted arrogantly.
"What if we draw an Anomaly Hunter here? Can you stop hopping around like you've got hyperthyroidism, you damn mutt?" the burly man snapped.
