Let me say a few things.
When Rabbit first entered the industry, he was a full-time writer. He flopped for a long time before barely reaching lv3. After finishing Marvel, his new books kept going badly. For three straight months, he couldn't even get a contract, and his living expenses basically depended on his previous book.
During the New Year, he had no choice but to go to another platform, thinking he could make some quick money and at least have a decent holiday. But he flopped there too.
I'm not afraid you'll laugh at me for saying this, but for this book, I took the last bit of money from my bank card and spent it to boost the book onto the category rankings. I still haven't paid my utility bills. Honestly, the pressure of staking everything like this is even greater than I imagined.
Then, over the past two days, someone in my family was diagnosed with cancer and needs surgery. It felt like my whole mindset collapsed at once, especially when my mom told me, "You don't have much money right now, so just focus on writing your book well."
It felt like a bolt from the blue. It was also the first time I truly felt useless. The recent chapters really haven't been as good as they should have been.
Honestly, my state of mind has been affected. My head is a complete mess right now. I hope everyone can understand a little. I promise I'll adjust as soon as possible and write this book well.
But it's still the new-book period right now, so I really can't do mass updates. Once the book goes premium, I'll definitely update like crazy.
Well, thank you all for your support all this time.
