Chapter 652

Thor tried to break free, only to discover that Hela's strength was even more terrifying than he had imagined.

No matter how he struggled, he could not escape her grasp.

"Die!"

Hela could no longer concern herself with anything else. She only wanted to deal with the troublesome Thor as quickly as possible, then kill Xu Fan.

Hopefully, that would stop him from summoning those mechanical lifeforms here.

She had thought Thor would be the hardest of them to deal with.

Now, however, it seemed that Xu Fan was the real threat.

The power he possessed was greater than Thor's.

Hela clamped her hands around Thor's throat and dove toward the ground with him.

Directly beneath Thor's back, a massive black sword burst through the earth and rose upward.

Thor also sensed the danger. He had no choice but to channel every last bit of lightning in his body into Stormbreaker.

"Then come on, Hela!"

Thor roared at Hela. "Let's settle this once and for all!"

Rumble!

Peals of thunder exploded between Hela and Thor, spreading in every direction.

All of Thor's divine lightning power flowed through Hela's wounds and surged into her body.

Unprecedented agony tormented every cell in Hela's body.

Her face twisted in extreme pain.

"I am the Goddess of Death!"

Even so, Hela did not let go. She knew perfectly well that if Thor got hold of Stormbreaker, she would have no chance of winning.

To defeat this younger brother, to rule Asgard—

Hela endured the agony of Rushing Thunder's baptism, then thrust out both legs and kicked Thor hard in the abdomen, forcibly separating him from Stormbreaker.

After unleashing the last of his divine lightning power, Thor had exhausted all his strength.
