Final Thoughts

Let me speak from the heart.

To be honest, I finished writing this book a long time ago and set all the chapters to upload on a schedule.

I only put off writing these final thoughts until now.

When I think about this book ending, I do not feel the slightest reluctance. Instead, I feel relieved.

Actually, after the Naruto world arc ended and I began writing Marvel, I was in a lot of pain.

This book did poorly at the start. Its first subscription count was only four hundred.

At the time, I thought that since its performance was so poor, I might as well start a new book.

And then...

I started Tokyo.

As it turned out, the editor later gave this book several recommendation slots. With Qidian and the bookstore channels combined, it reached roughly four thousand average subscriptions.

That was nearly ten times its initial first-subscription count.

By all rights, I should have written this book even better.

But at the time, all my attention was on Tokyo. Then I mishandled the plot around the hundred-thousand-word mark in Tokyo, causing the follow-up readership to collapse.

My mentality completely collapsed then as well.

I began doubting my life and felt that I simply did not have the ability to write books.

Tokyo was abandoned, while I kept this book barely going with four thousand words a day.

The more I wrote, the worse my confidence became.
