Whoosh!

When the wind swept across the snowfield, it stabbed at their faces like steel blades and wormed its way beneath their collars, bone-chillingly cold.

Russell's personal valet, Ram, pulled his padded coat tighter and leaned closer to the coachman beside him, trying to share warmth.

Only he and the two coachmen in the entire convoy were ordinary people.

Everyone else was a knight.

With Battle Aura surging through them, the knights feared no cold of this degree despite wearing little clothing, even with frost crusting their beards and hair.

"Eegu, eegu!"

Suddenly, a little sprite crawled out of the carriage and flew through the freezing wind toward Russell, who was riding ahead.

"Chirp chirp!" A plump little green bird followed right behind the sprite.

Neither the little sprite nor the plump bird feared the cold. They quickly landed on Russell's left and right shoulders, chattering incessantly.

"Nico, Rosie, why did you come out?" Russell tilted his head from side to side, filled with pride.

Though he was merely a baronial lord, he had two little sprites. Who could compare to that?

Even the Fluorite Mushroom Family had only two little sprites.

"Coo coo!"

"Chirp chirp."

Though he could not understand what the two little sprites were saying, Russell could sense through their mental connection that the little ones were fascinated by the snowy scenery.

"Enough. Now that you've seen the view, go back into the carriage. Don't fall off, or the Snow Demons will catch and eat you." Russell gave Nico and Rosie a small threat and shooed them back into the carriage.

The party sped along the Ice Snow Great Wall. No one spoke as they endured the freezing wind and occasional snowfall.

By evening, they reached a Cold Spring Point.

They set up camp and cooked dinner.
