Deep in the snowfields, heavy snow swirled through the air.
Though sunlight shone through gaps in the clouds, it still could not melt the Ice Cap that had remained frozen for tens of thousands of years, nor dispel the biting cold.
Suddenly.
A resounding roar came from the distance. "Aang!"
Then a shadow flashed through the clouds before vanishing back into the thick cloud cover. But soon, a silver-white creature rapidly dove down from another dark cloud.
The creature had enormous wings and a long, slender tail. Whenever sunlight struck its scales, they reflected a silvery-white gleam.
It was unmistakably a Silver Dragon, a Silver Dragon among wyverns.
A knight in silver armor rode upon the Silver Dragon's back, nearly blending into one with it. After the rider and dragon swooped down and landed, the silver-armored knight leaped down and drew a long metal spear from the dragon's back.
Then he viciously drove it into the ground, plunging most of the metal spear into the Ice Cap.
Only the shaft remained exposed.
Having done this, the silver-armored knight quickly retreated from the metal spear, then leaped back onto the Silver Dragon's back.
The Silver Dragon's powerful legs kicked off the Ice Cap. Its wings spread wide, and it soared into the sky.
Once the rider and dragon had flown some distance away, the black clouds above churned. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning descended from the heavens and struck the exposed shaft of the metal spear.
The silver-armored knight turned back and looked down from high above.
After the lightning struck the metal spear, it rapidly spread outward from it, winding bolts abruptly unfurling like a spiderweb. Intense light pierced through the thick Ice Cap, like an ice flower blooming.
