"Caw!"
They spent the night in a cave, without even laying out their sleeping bags. Bill, the Wind Blade Brown Bear, made the most comfortable blanket, and Russell and Grove both slept sprawled across his back.
Unicorn Polly stood in the cave, sleeping with all four hooves off the ground—Wind Walk had already become her instinct, requiring no active casting.

"All right, enough nonsense. Let's eat!" Once everyone had gathered, Russell waved his chubby little hand.
The great Dark Dream family set off eagerly.
There were an extraordinary number of Snow Ghosts on the Ice Age snowfields. No one knew where they kept coming from. One batch would be cut down like grass, only for another to emerge. It had only been a few days since the second Battle of the Fall ended, yet the Snow Ghosts had already recovered their numbers.
"Who cares where they come from? Just eat!"
Along the way, Little Dream Dragon ate with great delight. Though Hail Beads were weak, there were so many Snow Ghosts that they still provided nourishment for Little Dream Dragon's growth.
"The Snow Ghosts replenish themselves quickly, but the Snow Demons replenish themselves rather slowly." Russell stroked his chin as he pondered. "No wonder humans speculate that Snow Ghosts are corpses rising from the dead, endlessly appearing, while Snow Demons are visitors from another world who must cross the Gate of Another World to reach the snowfields."
But he quickly shook his head. "Not necessarily. Perhaps Snow Ghosts are merely infected by ordinary Snow Demon Power, which is why they spring up endlessly like weeds. Snow Demons, on the other hand, are condensed from essence, so they take longer to form."
