Saiban the fairy ran off, leaving behind a leaf from the Lucky Four-Leaf Clover and temporarily escaping the risk of Russell shearing him for more wool.
Russell held the round leaf and pondered silently. "There's nothing I urgently want to do right now... And the bigger the wish, the harder it is to fulfill. Harpe and Ouroboros becoming pseudo-dragons clearly isn't enough!"
"Quack!"
Little Dream Dragon's cry interrupted his thoughts.
Little Dream Dragon was drooling as it stared eagerly at the Lucky Four-Leaf Clover leaf in Russell's hand. Its meaning could not have been more obvious.
Russell did not want to eat it, but it did!
"You want to eat it?"
"Quack!"
"Hmm." Russell hesitated. It was not that he was reluctant to let Little Dream Dragon eat it; he was simply afraid that Little Dream Dragon would waste the Lucky Four-Leaf Clover leaf.
Saiban the fairy was rarely seen. Who knew whether he would be able to shear any more wool from him in the future?
But seeing Little Dream Dragon practically drooling with desire, Russell ultimately could not resist and stuffed the leaf into its mouth.
Then he nagged, "Eat it, eat it. This is something that can make wishes come true. After you eat it, don't forget to make a wish. Better yet, wish for yourself to grow up quickly and be able to erupt like a volcano sooner."
"Quack!" Little Dream Dragon smacked its lips once and swallowed the Lucky Four-Leaf Clover leaf.
It stuck out its tongue to lick between its teeth, tilted its head, then gave a disdainful snort, as though it had not tasted anything at all.
"See? I knew feeding it to you would be a waste." Russell patted Little Dream Dragon's head. "Hurry up and make your wish!"
