• Russell arranged serf purchases and recruited Big Clumsy Bear Grove, then helped establish the Wujin Pig breeding program with Lord Dave’s herders.
• Russell visited Grand Duke Kunsitan at Red Castle, presented him with cigars, and later ordered Horace and Grove to buy serfs and recruit Cave Freemen.
• Russell lured the hidden unicorn Phantom Beast with Red Agate and Wax Rubidium Essence, and she accepted him as her companion Polly.
• Russell returned to Wuyou Snake Manor, organized nearly fourteen hundred newcomers, and assigned Grove and Eric to lead its guards and patrols.
• Snow Giant Da emerged from the ice, prompting Baron Roman to summon the lords and order them to prepare their knights for war.

Russell contracted Polly and joined the Shadowflame Grand Duchy’s war against Snow Giant Da, while the Shadowflame Dragon and a summoned Torrent Dragon battled the giant. After Grand Duke Kunsitan died and the succession crisis began, the Shadowflame Dragon privately asked Russell to help it reclaim its lost hope and gave him a wyvern egg to raise.

• Russell formed a contract with Polly, who gained the ability to fly while hidden in the Dark Dreamscape, and he welcomed her into the dreamscape family.
• The Guangguang River Valley Knight Order reached Swan Castle and joined the campaign against the Snow Demon Legion, where Russell fought alongside Polly and collected Hail Beads.
• The Shadowflame Dragon arrived with Grand Duke Kunsitan, and Count Merlin organized the Knight Orders to separate the Snow Demon Legion from Snow Giant Da.
• As the knights drew the Snow Demons away, the Shadowflame Dragon fought Snow Giant Da, but the giant wounded its wing and reopened an old injury in its abdomen.
• A Torrent Dragon joined the battle, Snow Giant Da fled, and a Mounted Blue Skin ambush killed Grand Duke Kunsitan.
• Russell paid his respects to Kunsitan and mourned his retainer John, while Princess Anxia and the nobles faced the succession crisis and vowed revenge on Snow Giant Da.
• The Shadowflame Dragon summoned Russell privately, explained that Torrent had taken its hope and occupied its volcano, and asked Russell and Snowy to help it kill Snow Giant Da and reclaim that hope.
• The Shadowflame Dragon gave Russell a wyvern egg and instructed him to raise it with Hail Beads and hatch it with dragonflame.

Russell returned from the snowfield campaign, built up his household and knightly forces, and secured a contract with the Black Oil Dragon Egg, Rosai. He traveled to Red Castle and Black Court Castle, where political duties and family ties continued to shape his plans for a Warm Enclave.

• Russell contracted the Wyvern egg, discovered that Polly could carry dream objects into reality, and awakened the tick in amber as Tick.
• Marquis Arno and the Torrent Dragon arranged to delay the succession, while the Elder Council named Kunsley Sunflower, Augustus Willow, and Mel Monochoria as candidates for Grand Duke.
• Russell returned home, paid John’s family fifty Gold Coins, expanded his plans for his household, and shared his fermented-fertilizer findings with his people.
• Russell found Saiban, gained Lucky Whisper, and led his knights against Great Snow Ghosts before feeding Hail Beads to the Black Oil Dragon Egg.

The arc left him traveling toward Red Castle with Roland and Katie as he suspected Snow Giant Da was withholding Ice Soul Beads to hinder the dragons’ growth.

• Russell defeated Cooper in a spar using his self-developed Three Sword Style, then returned to his territory and continued developing Sword Control Technique with Polly.
• Count Merlin sentenced Baron Roman to three years of Combat Hard Labor, but Roman later returned to Red Castle as a Dragon Knight and flew away with Lord Ross.
• Russell returned to Fluorite Castle, where Grand Scholars Alex and Robert investigated his Fermented Fertilizer Technology, while Grove announced his plans to marry Fanny.
• Russell explored the snowfields east of Guangguang River Valley and discovered Green Capital Snow Forest, where a Harpy Dragon lived among Owl-like Dragons.
