While resting by the roadside, Jiang Ping'an occasionally saw cultivators passing by on horseback or in carriages, all hurrying toward Azure Origin Sect. Most of these cultivators were Rogue Cultivators, not disciples of Azure Origin Sect.

Less than half an hour later, he arrived before the mountain gate of Azure Origin Sect.

The mountain gate of Azure Origin Sect was exceedingly imposing, consisting of a bluestone stele and six enormous pillars.

The bluestone stele stood a hundred zhang tall, engraved with the two ancient seal-script characters, "Azure Origin." The six colossal pillars, each thirty Zhang in diameter, soared into the clouds, their tops invisible even when one craned one's neck. Every pillar was covered in different relief carvings and exuded an inexplicable pressure.

As people walked toward the Azure Origin mountain gate, they resembled a swarm of ants crawling before several towering buildings. It was impossible not to feel one's own insignificance, or the immensity of Azure Origin Sect.

Before the side gate on the right, formed by the six heaven-propping pillars, two or three hundred Rogue Cultivators had gathered. Guessing that this was where Azure Origin Sect recruited new members, Jiang Ping'an rode over.

Sure enough, members of Azure Origin Sect were recruiting there, having the Rogue Cultivators line up to register and pay spirit stones.

"Newcomer, line up and pay your spirit stones!" a cultivator dressed in Azure Origin Sect robes shouted at Jiang
