Delivered to His Door

When Jiang Ping'an entered the cave abode's main hall, he saw that Dongfang Jintang was already seated before the low table. He looked at her, hoping to discern at least a hint of her intentions.

Dongfang Jintang did not raise her eyes to look at Jiang Ping'an, merely demanding coldly, "Why is there no tea or wine?"

Jiang Ping'an took a jug of Spirit Wine from his Storage Bag and used spiritual power to carry it onto the table. Then he said, "State your purpose."

Dongfang Jintang did not answer. She picked up the wine jug, removed its lid, and sniffed it. Then she directly lifted the entire jug to her lips and began drinking with her head thrown back.

Jiang Ping'an found it utterly baffling. Given their life-and-death enmity, she had come knocking in the middle of the night and actually dared to guzzle his wine right in front of him. Did she really take him for some kind-hearted little white rabbit?

Jiang Ping'an watched Dongfang Jintang drink deeply, thinking she would stop after two or three mouthfuls. Yet to his surprise, she drained the entire jug of Spirit Wine.

"Hey, don't tell me you're too broke to buy wine, so you came here to drink mine for free?" Jiang Ping'an mocked.

Dongfang Jintang set down the empty jug, lifted her eyes to glance at Jiang Ping'an, then rose and walked around the table, swaying unsteadily toward the stone chamber.

Jiang Ping'an grew angry and shouted, "Dongfang Jintang, don't go too far! You—"

Before he could finish, he stared in astonishment as Dongfang Jintang removed a piece of clothing, leaving him unable to say the rest.
