The Miraculous

Faced with the soul-consciousness assault of Nether True Qi, a pair of closed eyes slowly opened to a slit in the deepest part of his Sea of Consciousness, blooming with twelve-colored divine light. The extreme negative emotions contained within the Nether True Qi were instantly cleansed away. The wails of dead souls at his ears vanished, the illusions before his eyes dissolved, and Jiang Ping'an's heart became still as water.

With the interference gone, Jiang Ping'an was able to calmly and swiftly refine this wisp of Nether True Qi.

Nether True Qi was innately opposed to the Yang energy of the living. Once drawn into the body, it would frantically devour a cultivator's life force and vital essence. If it could not be subdued and refined within an extremely short time, the physical body would rapidly wither away and turn into dry bones.

Time flew by. Twenty-seven days passed, and Jiang Ping'an finally refined an entire portion of Nether True Qi into his body, becoming a Qi Refining Realm cultivator!

Opening his eyes, Jiang Ping'an let out a breath and thought, I've finally advanced to the Qi Refining Realm. This portion of Nether True Qi is truly safely in my pocket now—no one can take it away.
