Yu Lianhua flew twenty or thirty zhang to the right with Jiang Ping'an when two Sword Wraiths suddenly charged out of the black mist.
Unlike during the day, these two Sword Wraiths did not first unleash a hooting sound to attack their enemies' Divine Souls and Seas of Consciousness. Instead, riding the black mist like the most accomplished assassins, they stabbed out with lightning speed, their swords aimed squarely at Jiang Ping'an and Yu Lianhua.
Their swords were formed from black mist, making them extremely difficult to detect in the darkness and within the black fog.
"Careful!" Yu Lianhua warned, swinging her sword to knock aside a Sword Wraith's strike.
Jiang Ping'an noticed the Sword Wraiths before Yu Lianhua did and likewise raised his sword to block the attack.
When their first strike failed, the Sword Wraiths immediately slipped back into the black mist before Yu Lianhua could react, vanishing without a trace.
Jiang Ping'an had suppressed his strength beneath Yu Lianhua's, so he allowed the Sword Wraith attacking him to escape into the black mist.
Yu Lianhua said somewhat nervously, "These Sword Wraiths are more than a level stronger than they were in daylight. We must leave Vengeful Sword Valley immediately. If night falls completely, the consequences will be unthinkable!"
