There Was Something Wrong with the Wine

Half an hour later, Jiang Ping'an followed Yin Suhun down into a secluded, gloomy, icy-cold valley within the bounds of Primordial Fiend Peak.

This valley lay within the baleful yin earth veins of Primordial Fiend Peak. Though it appeared to be an ordinary little valley, yin energy hung thick and heavy here, making it prone to spawning ghosts.

After landing, Yin Suhun explained to Jiang Ping'an, "The villain is locked in a mountain cave dungeon. Junior brother Jiang, please follow me."

Yin Suhun giggled and led Jiang Ping'an toward a cave at the bottom of the valley.

The ground inside the cave was uneven, with an unbroken flight of steps leading downward. The yin energy within was dense, and the farther down they went, the thicker the baleful yin energy became.

After they had walked side by side for only a few steps, Jiang Ping'an heard continuous screams and curses drifting from the depths of the cave. Coupled with the eerie atmosphere, it sent a chill down one's spine.

Noticing the unnatural look on Jiang Ping'an's face, Yin Suhun explained, "That's the villain making those sounds. Do you know just how vicious he is? He's a bandit chief.
